Live from Daryl's House

Daryl Hall came into the office once while I was working on the show and I was showing him the edit of an ad for his latest album. He looked at it and then said to me, "Can you move that music edit over one measure?" I looked up at him not knowing what a measure was (I know what it is now) then back down at my keyboard. I moved the music edit and played it back for him. He looked at me and said, "There it is." Then he left. I breathed a sigh of relief and decided that I needed to get some music theory education.

When I started on this show, Daryl had three years of content on YouTube that I had to recut for syndication while we were producing new episodes for both the web and TV. It was quite the adventure and a super fun project.
